  3. Please note - One thing that has confused users: FSBC MUST launch 
  4. the MSIE session to control it, if you launch a MSIE session by 
  5. any means other than clicking the MSIE button on the FSBC toolbar 
  6. FSBC will NOT control it, the link MUST be etablished by starting 
  7. MSIE with FSBC.

  9. Secondly, Win 95 is sensitive to the order in which DLL's and other
  10. supporting files are added or updated.  Several users have noticed that
  11. FSBC stops launching MSIE when MSIE or other internet apps are updated.
  12. In order to fix this you should UNinstall MSIE and then reinstall it.
  13. This is not an FSBC problem but is a problem with the way that FSBC and 
  14. MSIE use the Win 95 OLE process.

  16. Note that if you already have these files registered on your system 
  17. you can DL the FSBCONLY.ZIP file, else you will have to DL the whole 
  18. bloated setup package FSBCMSIE.ZIP:

  24. The abocve are included in the VB4 runtime package, if you need the
  25. package try the below sources. It installs files that VB4 apps 
  26. need, you need it only ONCE for any and all VB4 apps.

  36. If you are DL'ing an updated version of FSBCMSIE then you need only 
  37. the FSBCONLY.ZIP file, simply extract the EXE file and place it in 
  38. the same dir as the old version over writing it.

  42. FSBC stands for Full Screen Browser Control, a neat little floating 
  43. palette of buttons that can be moved anywhere on the screen or tucked 
  44. into a corner in a collapsed state. It launches MSIE, controls the 
  45. window size and closes MSIE when it closes. Couple this with the right 
  46. mouse button context menus in MSIE and there is little need for anything 
  47. else ! It allows MSIE to be shown in a SUPER MAXED SCREEN state  
  48. NO TOOLBAR, MENU, STATUSBAR or TITLEBAR, just WALL TO WALL BROWSER.

  50. I wrote FSBC because I got tired of scrolling all around at web sites 
  51. trying to see the whole document.  Even with a 15" monitor set at 
  52. 800 x 600, with all the buttons menus and other stuff hanging on the 
  53. browser and Win 95's taskbar visible it leaves little room to show the 
  54. actual document.  So with VB4 and the InternetExplorer OLE object in 
  55. hand I sought to remedy the situation - the result is FSBC.

  57. It is simple to use, tooltips are available to aid you.
